2003 Banquet Night
As each bowhunting season comes to an end it brings sadness to the hearts of all die hard hunters...because it just never seems to be long enough. The four glorious months that make up the season are filled with many changes. The magnificent color of early fall paves the way for bowhuntings finest moments and the hope of every hunter that he will fill his tag with the buck of a lifetime. Emotions run high and great expectations can be dashed away with the slightest bit of human error. After leaves have fallen and air currents change, late season arrives with it's snowy blanket and frozen waterways...opening up new areas to hunt for the adventurous bowman. The members of the Highbanks Hunting Club have grown to appreciate these changes as they occur and have established a tradition of celebrating each season as it passes. This celebration is referred to as the Highbanks Hunting Club Banquet Night and is intended to bring together each club member as well as those "special" guests who have come to hunt with the boys over the course of the season. It is an overnight stay that includes watching football, eating a good meal, presenting the Big Buck Award, and recapping the events from the season. It is ALWAYS a fun time and very entertaining.
