The annul Highbanks Hunting Club Banquet Night was held on Saturday, February 4th and consisted of a day long ice fishing excursion on Marshmiller Lake, an excellent supper of venison at the HHC Clubhouse, and a night out at Flater's Resort. The day was full of laughter and hi-jinx but when the smoke cleared on the 2006 Banquet Night "event" it was Poison & Paco who provided the most entertainment. Following is brief summary and pictoral display of these two "prime time players" in action...

The day started out pretty normal for Poison and Paco ...but it didn't take long for that to change! Immediately after the above picture was taken, Poison caught an edge while sliding Pedro's John Deere around a corner and flipped it over...in plain view of the whole group. The laughter was overwhelming as Poison went flying across the snow along with the seat from the snowmobile. It became even more hilarious as he scrambled to his feet, put the seat back on, started the engine and took off again. The best part, though, is that much of it was captured on film! After the "Poison Incident" it was decided that the group should stick with an activity less likely to cause bodily harm to someone, so the boys had themselves a Punt, Pass, & Kick competition...on snow covered ice!
It's amazing what a bunch of "old" guys will do for fun when they are away from their wives...crazy!!

As the day wore on and all snowmobile accidents, ice fishing activity, and PPK competitions were over, it was time for the "evening session" of the 2006 Banquet Night. It was Paco's time to "shine"! Everyone headed back to the Clubhouse for a wonderful feast of venison steak and potatoes (prepared by Lefty & Barnacle) as well as some cold beverages and great cameraderie. After dinner the boys headed over to Flaters to celebrate Paco's 8 point buck. As you can see by the pictures...Paco was having a GREAT time!
