2019 Season Results
9/23/19: Chakka Draws First Blood!
Chakka got the 2019 Season off to a good start when he downed this big doe on 9/23/19 from The Gate stand. His arrow went directly through the center of the deer's heart. Well done young man!
10/11/19: Odie Puts The Smackdown On "Doerene"
Odie was visiting from California and looking to tag himself a deer. The first one to come along at The Gate stand was a young doe the boys nicknamed "Doerene". Odie's aim was true and Doerene was recovered in the cornfield a short distance from the church yard. Great shot Odie!
10/13/19: Pedro Get's Back In The Game
After a few years in a row without filling a bow tag Pedro got himself back in the groove with a nice doe taken at the Bee Hive food plot. 
10/17/19: Pedro Finishes Off A Great Week
Pedro continued his week long hot streak by taking down this 10 point buck from the Salt Log Hill stand. 
10/19/19: Mudbrook Boys - Group Hunt

11/1/19: Black Clover Closes The Deal!
On Friday, November 1st the Black Clover (also known as Juan or Johnny B.) connected on this 8 point buck at the Nipple stand...his biggest buck ever with a bow. A great deer and another great Mudbrook memory. Way to go Clover!
11/9/19: HHC Crew - Rut Hunt
On November 9th, 2019 the entire HHC gang was together for a rut hunt and overnight stay at the church. What a great time! Back Row L to R: Paco, Pedro, Black Clover, Chakka, Odie. Front Row L to R: Poison, Barnacle, Chapper, Lefty, Bee Sting. GOOD TIMES!
11/9/19: Barnacle Gets On The Board
On Saturday, November 9th Barnacle made a good shot on this 8 point buck from The Gap stand. The buck didn't run far before expiring. This is one happy old man!
11/9/19: The Brandon Buck
Chakka & Pedro pose with a 10 point buck that was taken on 11/9/19 to honor a young Air Force Serviceman who passed away suddenly on 10/29/19. The young man's name is Brandon and he was the son of a good friend of
the High Banks Hunting Club. Brandon had a passion for hunting and will be greatly missed. Peace be with you young man!
11/25/19: Chakka Takes Down The "Bomo
​After a slow and frustrating opening weekend of gun season Chakka removed this "bomo" buck from the Mudbrook gene pool on Monday evening from Lucky's Pine. This buck had no brow tines and was chasing does like crazy all fall. Most of the Mudbrook boys had shot opportunities at him but Chakka was finally the one to take him down. 
12/15/19: Jayhawk's First Deer Ever!!
This young man's HHC name is Jayhawk and this is his first deer ever! His family does not have a history of hunting but he really wanted to give it a try so what better place than Mudbrook! This deer was taken on the final day of the antlerless only season with a high temperature of only 3 degrees. It was chilly but Jayhawk downed this mature doe with one shot while sitting in a lawn chair near The Gate stand.  What an awesome deer and a life long memory. Well done young deer killer!
